Air Force Mandates Free Exercise of Religion Training
Many people may not be aware of it but the United States military has had a serious problem with religious tolerance for over a decade now. From the Air Force Academy to the Pentagon, it seems as if the United States Armed Forces have been infiltrated by evangelical Christians who believe their purpose is to “raise up a Godly army.”
Jeff Scarlet reported that when President Obama was inaugurated as Commander in Chief back in January of 2009, he inherited a military force immersed in a subtle civil war between a majority of military professionals who simply wanted to serve their country and a “small but powerful movement of Christian soldiers concentrated in the officer corps…
…Much to my surprise, the Air Force recently mandated a “Free Exercise of Religion” course as part of it’s annual “Total Force Awareness Training.” The course is designed to teach Air Force personnel about the constitutional foundation for the right to free exercise of religion.
As clearly illustrated below, the freedom not to believe in the “existence of a supreme being” is included in the constitution:
